At Unearthed Interiors, we believe every home has a story — whether it’s a new build awaiting its first chapter or a historic space layered with memories and quirks. Our mission is to design spaces that honor those stories while reflecting the unique character of the people who live in them. By blending thoughtful design with personal detail, we create homes that are both timeless and inviting. We believe the homes we create today will hold your family’s stories for generations to come.
Our process has been fine-tuned over the years with a mix of spreadsheets, data, and a little bit of *magic*. We solve problems before you even notice them (and hopefully never will), making the design process as stress-free as possible - that way, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy watching your dream home come together.
Giving back is also part of our core. Amy founded the 'Continuing Creatives Scholarship' in which she supports high school students pursuing creative fields, helping to foster the next generation of designers, makers, and dreamers.

Meet Amy Brown, NCIDQ

I grew up in an old house with creaky floorboards and layers of paint that told the stories of all the families who lived there before mine. That’s where I first learned that a home is so much more than walls and windows—it’s a place where memories live. That belief has carried me through 15 years of high-end design work, and it’s at the heart of every project I take on.
I started my career in New York City at one of the top design firms in the country, working on projects where privacy and trust were just as important as the design itself. It taught me that whether I’m designing for a family next door or a face you may recognize, a home is always sacred.
I’m a mom to a beautiful daughter and wife to an amazing husband who just so happens to be a chef—yes, I’m spoiled, and no, I never cook. I have two rescue cats, both named after pasta, who are more high maintenance than any cat should ever be. I’ve never met a spicy margarita I couldn’t handle—if I’m not sweating, it’s just not spicy enough. When I’m not designing, you’ll find me devouring audiobooks and podcasts at 1.75x speed because honestly, who can listen to anything at 1x?! Between family, cats, cocktails, and my slightly accelerated listening habits, life is never boring, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to create spaces that feel like home. Warm, timeless, welcoming spaces where your family can grow and your memories can unfold.
